An 8-week, 14-session, transformational, player development program for rising 7th grade and 8th grade boys (2024-2025 school year). The STARS Academy is an invitation-only program, attracting high-potential young leaders to a dynamic and challenging experience. Each two-hour session will challenge athletes to grow in areas of:
- Skill Development and Position Play
- Speed, Strength, and Agility
- Nutrition and Health
- Sports Psychology
- Leadership Training
- Spiritual Development
The STARS Academy will build upon previous concepts and growth each week and conclude with an Academy Graduation at the end of the summer. Each athlete will learn and grow with other athletes in their grade level. We will have separate sessions for rising 7th grade and 8th grade athletes. STARS Basketball Club is pulling all resources together to make this the most complete, focused, and impactful player-development program we offer.
IS STARS ACADEMY RIGHT FOR YOU?
This program is not for everyone! In fact, we are capping the number of athletes at 24 per grade level. If you are serious about taking your game to the next level and growing both on and off the court, then STARS Academy is for you! Where else can you join 20-24 like-minded individuals who don’t want to settle for being average in any area of their life? Athletes who are eager to learn and willing to get outside their comfort zone will graduate different than when they arrived!

Academy 101:
Saturdays 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. (7th/8th Boys)
Wednesdays 5:45 – 7:00 p.m. (7th/8th Boys)
Academy 201:
Saturdays 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 pm. (7th/8th Boys)
Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. (7th/8th Boys)
Ted Quinn
A veteran coach and growth-minded leader with more than 25 years of experience in player development, team building, culture change, strategy execution and character growth. Coach Quinn has been the Director of Player Development for STARS since 2020 and will oversee the structure, content, and direction of the Academy.
Additional guest coaches and speakers in areas of nutrition, sport psychology, leadership, goal setting, and former college/professional players sharing their experiences!
$499 Total Cost
Includes: Access to all 14 sessions, Athlete Notebook, Academy Curriculum, Academy Shirt and other Academy experiences.
