2024-2025 Winter Team Tryout Details
NEW DATE FOR 2ND TRYOUT SESSION MONDAY, OCTOBER 14
NEW LOCATION - DAVIDSON ACADEMY (HS GYM)
Who: 2nd & 3rd Grade Boys Tryouts (9 ft. rims)
When: Thursday, October 3rd & Monday, October 14th
Time: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Where: Davidson Academy
Fee: $22 if registering by 9/26; $29 if registering 9/27 or later
Who: 4th & 5th Grade Boys Tryouts (10 ft. rims)
When: Thursday, October 3rd & Monday, October 14th
Time: 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
Where: Davidson Academy
Fee: $22 if registering by 9/26; $29 if registering 9/27 or later
STARS Basketball will be placing winter teams in the NORTH Nashville Hoops League. STARS’ Teams will play in both the Pre- and Post-Chrismas Leagues.
- Game Dates for Pre-Christmas: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21, 12/22
- Game Dates for Post-Christmas: 1/4, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22
- Minimum of 16 games
- Games are played at local schools and churches around Goodlettsville, Madison, Hendersonville, and White House Areas
- STARS’ Teams will practice 1x/team at Sumner County Area Schools and Churches (90-minute practices)
- Practices will be held on Sunday late afternoons and/or Sunday evenings beginning Sunday, October 13.

2024-2025 Winter Team Fees
- Team Fee: $540
- Gear Fee: $40 (Short-sleeve Performance Tee & Reversible jersey
- Total Team Fee: $580 (Return jersey at the end of the season for $25 refund)
- NET Fee: $555
Team Fee is payable in FULL OR through a 4-payment plan option
- 25% of team fee due at registration
- 3 additional monthly payments of 25% of team fee (November, December, January)
