2024 SOUTH - Fall Youth League
6TH - 8TH BOYS & GIRLS
STARS Basketball Club will be hosting the annual FALL YOUTH LEAGUE again in 2024 (late Saturday afternoon/evening league)! This is a terrific opportunity for middle school basketball players to get multiple game reps prior to their middle school/winter league seasons. The FALL YOUTH LEAGUE features both a “BRING A TEAM” option and a “FREE AGENT” option! Similar to last year, and to avoid all the no shows/re-scheduling that always happens due to area school’s fall breaks, the league will run mid-August through late September. See all details below.
INFORMATION BELOW RELATES TO "BRING A TEAM" AND "FREE AGENT" OPTIONS
DATES:
- Saturdays (8/17-9/28; skipping 8/31); tentative time range: 2:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
- Six Saturdays/Games (late afternoon/evenings)
- Oldest grade divisions will usually play in earliest time blocks to accommodate younger athletes playing fall rec. sports on Saturdays
LOCATION:
- TOA Sports Performance Center (215 Gothic Court, Franklin)
- On a couple of Saturdays, games may be played at area high schools (e.g – Battle Ground Academy, Ravenwood, Lipscomb Academy, etc.)

- 48 Minute Games (longer games!)

“BRING A TEAM” GRADE DIVISIONS:
- BOYS: 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades
- GIRLS: 7th / 8th Grades (Varsity Division)
“BRING A TEAM” ENTRY FEE: Early Reg. Price = $899 if registering by 8/4; Regular price = $949

“BRING A TEAM” SCHEDULING REQUESTS:
- For coaches who coach multiple teams, we will do our best to honor scheduling requests
- We will not honor scheduling requests for players that might play on multiple teams
Building upon our STARS Summer League “FREE AGENT” Leagues which featured 300+ middle school players, and modeled after our long-running, fall High School Hoops League which features 300+ High School Basketball Players annually, we are excited about expanding our “FREE AGENT” League options this fall for middle school athletes! This is a games’ only league – no weekly practices. Every player will receive a STARS jersey which will be collected after the last game.
NOTE for both BOYS’ and GIRLS’ Teams: In an effort to form equal, competitive teams AND to make sure each player signed up for the correct division, we do plan on hosting a “FREE AGENT Assessment Day” on Sunday, August 11th. “Assessment Times” to be announced on August 7th.
BOYS: Back for year #2, and expanding division choices – 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade BOYS can sign up as an individual and register for JV, Varsity Division, or PREMIER Division. STARS will form teams and assign a STARS Coach to each team. This league will follow the same format as STARS Middle School SUMMER Hoops League which featured 216 boys / 24 teams!
- BOYS: 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades
- DIVISIONS (Boys):
- JV: 6th / 7th Graders (6th Graders with average ability / recreation league player; 7th Graders who almost made their Middle School Team and/or recreational league player)
- Varsity: 6th / 7th / 8th Graders (ADVANCED/TOP 6th Graders; 7th Graders who play for Middle School Team; 8th Graders who play for Middle School Team and/or high-level recreational league player)
- PREMIER: 7th / 8th Graders (ADVANCED / TOP Middle School Players; For example: Starters for Middle School Team)
- FEE: $185 if registered by 8/1; 8/2 and later – $199 – Registration Deadline is 8/9
GIRLS: 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade GIRLS can sign up as an individual and register for the JV or PREMIER Division. STARS will form teams and assign a STARS Coach. This league will follow the same format as STARS July GIRLS’ Hoops League which featured 85 girls / 8 teams!
- GIRLS: 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades
- DIVISIONS (Girls):
- JV: 6th / 7th / 8th Graders (ALL 6th Graders; 7th Graders who play for Middle School Team; 8th Graders who just missed making their school basketball team and/or high-level recreational league player)
- PREMIER: 7th / 8th Graders (ADVANCED / TOP Middle School Players; For example: Starters for Middle School Team)
- FEE: $185 if registered by 8/1; 8/2 and later – $199 – Registration Deadline is 8/9
